Photojournalism fascinates me with its power. I think just about every image that has caused me to utter "Oh shit" or "Whoa" under my breath was the result of a photojournalist somewhere. There are a couple of those images in this presentation.

I was just about to make a posting about the IHT's 2007 Year in Pictures' when I saw your blog on it. I note your use of the word 'a couple' of good photos - hardly speaks well for their year in pictures does it, if all they can muster is a couple. My guess, done at short notice, to satisfy an advertiser.
